Introduction

Snooter Magruder is a Mechanical Design Prototyping team. Our goal is to create a mobile robot with tank controls and a crane arm that has the ability to distinguish between light and dark colored objects. We will be using the Sparkfun Arduino Uno.
We are Mathew Pham, Zachary Puracchio, Patrick Harrington, and Scott Silbernagel.

Hi! We're Snooter Magruder, and we're going to build a robot that can tell what color things are for the Francis College of Engineering Prototyping Competition. We will periodically be posting things we're working on, or things we think are cool.

Neat videos

One of the many nifty uses for arduino, an Xbox 360 controlled arm.
This one does circles REALLY well, but I'm sure it's functional in all aspects.

Color detection and tank treads

This (or something like this) could be useful. It will have to be modified to serve out purposes.

This would be a nice pattern to follow for the locomotion aspect of it, and if we wanted to go crazy, this looks pretty sweet.
